Political Advertisements Need a Facelift
Here's two familiar faces you might be seeing more of. Check out their campaigns from last fall. They just seem so "blah." Joe Wilson's is especially cheesy. I mean, for the most part, these ads are just powerpoint slides featuring pictures with fancy effects and a voiceover. Do you see a future in political advertising? More creative messages to younger audiences, better copy, better visuals? Or do you think the current media out there is substantial. I'm interested in your thoughts.

You're right, these definitely look like powerpoint slide shows. I think political advertisements would appeal more to the public if the actual candidate spoke on camera, rather than a voiceover at the end. Also, bashing a competitor makes the candidate look pathetic. I think that there is a lot of room for political advertisements to grow.
